Its not easy Overcoming Difficulty!At times we feel as if everything is caving in on us when things are not going our way.Yes it is hard to overcome difficulty but the only ones that can change our conditions is us.We must learn to put our minds to work to come up with solutions to our difficulties.I know its not easy,but this is what makes us become the people we are.Everyone is always looking for a way out sometimes even a short cut if they can.In reality that's never the case to bring us up out of the rut that most of the times we've put ourselves in or allowed ourselves to remain.
Anytime your trying to change your conditions other forces seem to come at you more.People don't agree with you changing or rising up out of that condition because they have the "The Crab In The Bucket Syndrome".No one wants to see you overcome if they can't.Why? Recently I was addressed with a harsh statement from someone that it actually didn't surprise me but confirmed my thoughts about them.How greed can just constantly lead you to destruction.The person tried to tell me I had to increase my way of life & I just didn't figure that one out when times are at an all time low right now.Look around you how cities all over America are making cuts due to city & state budgets.Greed!With chasing the dollar you'll eventually fall flat on your face.Because when your not right no matter what you do you will not win because of all the hidden agendas & hidden motives people have.You just learn that a person who is greedy is also a liar.How can you be sure?Because they'll do whatever it takes to destroy a person & what they don't realize is that the laws of nature will reverse what they have intended to do to that person.I use to think money was everything,what I realized is that when you die you can't take any of that with you.I've learned how to do more with less while others around me are in shambles because of pressures that have overtaken them.A good friend would always tell me that "Sometimes Less Is More".And you know what I've realized that the blessings come more when your not chasing the Almighty Dollar!

All of us were born with gifts.Many of us are unaware that we acquire these many talents.So we either go through life not knowing we have them or realize it & begin to work on them.Going through life not knowing how to utilize your gift can keep you stagnated,in your own way or just passing your calling because you not willing to acknowledge it,work on it or just afraid that your not really going to succeed with it anyway.I've chosen to share my many gifts with others by sharing my life experiences,turning negatives things that happened in my life into a positive & teaching others how to use their gifts for a greater cause.Information is free but if your unaware of your resources or how to go about obtaining them you can lose a lot of opportunities.Les Brown said "Its better to be prepared for the opportunity than have the opportunity & be unprepared".I use this saying everyday in my life.Some people will despise you for your gifts because they lack the quality you have & would try anything to destroy you.I never understood why.Don't ever let anyone say you can't do it.You can do anything you put your mind to & if you've been blessed with a gift use it & never let it go to waste.

Who Is Director N.R.R.? Read 2 Find Out!

His name is Nomar R. Rosa but his Director name is NRR.Not only has he had a love for Films,its actually sort of weird but he also has a love for the culinary Arts because of Film.At about 11 or 12 when he first saw the film Mrs. Doubtfir the film was very funny and entertaining & he didn't know why but the scenes where he prepared the take out food on the table and the scene where they are having dinner with the "new boyfriend" at the restaurant,made him love culinary arts.It is something he'll never forget.Since he was a child he has had a love for Film, but it wasn't until senior year in high school that he realized he was very good at telling really good compelling stories.Not very good at writing but knew he had a creative mind for sure.It wasn't until he was 20 when he had his first hand held and actually filmed a short called "Nightmare on 1422".It was an original story with a very similar idea from the film "The Grudge" which u can view on his website.About a year later on his 21st birthday he was given a Canon XHA1 as a gift and its been an exciting adventure ever since.Following with 3 Music Videos and about 3 Promo Videos under his Direction & Production,he also has filmed an Improvisational Film called Transformed S:Dream Into Reality Based on the film Transformers."Film making is something I love to do and something I have taught myself".With no Film School experience or any Film production experience.Everything he has done has been on his own with a few friends.He believes a Film education makes you a great Filmmaker,if you have a passion for it and can be creative.

His goal right now for the next 2 years is to work extensively with underground artists and along the way begin working with signed artists and begin to make a name for himself.With plans on putting together a short film this year that is based on the Batman Character "The Joker" he's hoping to begin filming early spring to summer with a release date at the end of this year.Its a serious short film and his intention is to have his work noticed!Its going to be a full production with the hopes to start filming soon.

Well as you can see where I come from "Raw Talent" runs in our viens.Yes,183 is the place where stars are born.There has yet been anyone who can describe the term “RAW TALENT” so its my pleasure to introduce Sparkle Singleton A.K.A Lady Sparx….The definition!Born and raised in the Bronx on the block of 183rd and Prospect in a project called (Twin Parks).Sparkle first inherited her passion for music at the age of 15.The investment and exposure of a recording studio sparked a prodigy.And with plans to attend college in the future to major in acting.Basically taking stock in her career by choosing trades that suit her path as a lyricist/songwriter with a flow similar to Lil kim and M.C. Starting 2010 With My Documentary!!

Yes I'm starting 2010 with the my documentary on my life produced by Abru TV for one of their shows called Soul Survivors which will be aired this month on Channel 53 on RCN & also Abru.Tv.I'm not sure of the date as of yet but I will also have a screening of it.With my aunt & cousin expressing their feeling on my struggle & showing people where I came from & where I'm going despite the nay Sayers.Then following in February I'll start filming our feature The Gun Virgins & The Cybil Lake Show will be filming us making the feature.So This year will be a strong force of bringing everything I have no matter what.

Tisa Key: Casted As A Lead For The Gun Virgins!

Tisa Key is an Actress, Writer, Director & Producer who had an interest since childhood to be an actress.Born and raised in New York City she developed several different talents at a tender young age.She studied dance and was involved in various plays while still in elementary school.Her childhood wasn't glamorous, by no means at all and that’s when she started to write.It was like therapy for her, to put all her feeling and emotions on paper.In High School her attention went to playing varsity basketball full time and she had little time to act or write.She was one of the stars of her team as well as the captain.She always displayed some kind of leadership wherever she went.Then one year she was invited to participate in the Wheelchair Basketball Classic,in which as a requirement every player had to visit a hospital,spend time with disabled children and write an essay about their experience.Needless to say Tisa Key won for best essay in Manhattan and from that moment on her writing continued.While attending college in Florida on a basketball scholarship Tisa always felt something was missing and wasn't happy.

So after two years she returned back to New York City to fulfill her dream of being an actress. She went on to do several independent films, plays, as well as commercials.Her break out commercial was introducing the sneakers for WNBA player Cheryl Swoopes and was directed by Spike Lee.Watching the way Spike was and his interactions with all the actors sparked something in Tisa and she knew that was something she could and would do soon.In 2000 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream.It wasn’t an easy road for Tisa but she hung in there to fulfill what she had a passion for.After working for Disney a few years and getting minor gigs here and there she decided to take matters into her own hands and started writing screenplays.Although some people didn’t believe in Tisa she never gave up no matter what!She directed and produced a few small videos, while she shopped her scripts and ideas around.After becoming frustrated and disgusted with the countless promises, limited roles for minorities, and the non willingness to give her a chance she came back to New York City to produce a horror film “Evil Has A Face” and to finally get one of her short films off the ground.“Vengeance Is Mine” is a short film written, directed, produced, and starring Tisa Key.This time she was in control of her own destiny.

“Vengeance Is Mine” was Tisa’s directorial debt. From a first time director “Vengeance Is Mine” is both gritty and surreal, with a kinetic force that grabs you from it's opening scene and carries you on a short roller coaster ride to the shocking finale.The musical score and editing are both flawless.It gave the film a Zen quality seldom experienced in short movies.For a little over eight minutes it packs a wallop.A visceral ride that sees the main character Nemina played by Tisa Key transformed by the need for vengeance. One scene in particular was so realistic while shooting it someone almost called 911.This is a powerful and controversial film that will stir emotions, and leave the viewer with a sense of awe.“Vengeance Is Mine” is the first of many to come from Tisa Key.Her goal is to take her acting and filmmaking to places no one has dared to try to explore and her time is now!And now she was casted to for a Lead role in and independent film we're shooting called "The Gun Virgins".Tisa was a hit from her first performance & with this track record will be honored & recognized for years to come!

Jen White: Coming From California To New York!

Jen White is a senior at California State University, Fullerton where she is finishing up on a degree in Radio/TV/Film.With five years there studying film and television production, language of film, screenwriting for films and sitcoms and contemporary American film.In order to complete her degree it is required to serve in an internship and she really feels working with us on the Cybil Lake Show & The Gun Virgins would be a great opportunity to complete that portion on her collegiate career.Currently doing background acting on the side right now to dip her feet in production and get a feel for action on sets.She's very reliable and punctual."I really respect what Cybil is doing and look up to her, especially as a female film maker myself, which essentially means I am willing to help in any way needed in the production for both her film and the TV show portion".When we met at a recent production meeting I was impressed with her passion in getting involved with a project with only three months in New York City.Not only could she do her internship with us but also teach us her style of film making also.So not only will she be welcomed but appreciated with her style & contribution to the team.

Her name is Beatriz Payano.She's 17 years old and 100% Dominican,bilingual & ready to take on her dreams.She is outgoing ,open minded,outspoken & her friends seem to think she is a very unique person which makes Beatriz feel very proud & inspired by that "because why would she be someone else,right?"She lives with her Father in Brooklyn,New York.She has five siblings that she loves & admires with all her heart.A senior in school John V. Lindsay Wildcat Academy.Her goal is to attend college acquire a Business degree with intentions to own & operate her own business whether it be a Clothing Line or a Photography shop.Her hobbies are dancing,taking pictures (of herself :) or anything that stands out to her and designing clothes.She would also like to become a model which has always been her passion also since she was about 7 years old.She has tried many ways to brake into the industry and has had opportunities in the modeling business but they are either false agency's or people who just want to take her money but she doesn't allow that to stop her.With her hopes still high she is preparing herself for that day which will turn her life around.This is what you call a case of creating her own success regardless to whom or what!
