An Artist With Intense Experience Of Being Lost In Her Drawings & Paintings!

Here is the crowd that Melany Terranova brought out at her recent display of her work in art. The theme was "Exploring Relationships" where the artist displays how after every struggle it gives way to being found. This is what we all are trying to do out here who have an artistic mind. We learn that after we are lost we find ourselves through the display of our work or the help of others. This is something that brings passion out of us to make our ideas become a reality for the many to see who we were, have become & what we are now. I tip my hat to you Melany for your great inspiration of pushing your heart into your paintings.I will create a slide show of her paintings soon.

Ryan Griffith: The Owner & Designer of Suffer Clothing!

Here is a young designer out of California Ryan Griffith whose is braking into the fashion world on the hush. Hes an interesting fellow but has an eye for designing nice tee's if your looking for something out of the box.His line is called Suffer Clothing! Him & his second half Christina who happens to be the daughter of my good friend artist Melany Terranova is also a fashion designer. I met them at an art opening as they flew in from Cali & we were all discussing our views on fashion, art, acting, directing & breaking into all these worlds.I mentioned that I would sponsor some of their fashions this summer so hopefully we will generate a buzz so that we can break down the norms & add a variety of new designers to our wardrobe. So stay tuned as we open up the minds of all artistic characters this year & the many to come. Our goal is to create new house hold names for future generations!

Not only are they great accountants but wonderful people in general. Why? Not only would they help you with your finances but with an overall out look on what it really means to be honest in what you do.Joanne Jefferies & Chunyee Wong Miot are the dynamic duo I speak of. Joanne is from Astoria with roots from Greece that has a jovial attitude who's braking into new grounds everyday. Shes funny & would help you with your attitude when you need Uncle Sam to give you some money back.Chunyee is from Hong Kong with such a humble spirit who is introducing me to the true culture of China but her mathematics is nothing to play with. These two women are who you need to have on your payroll when it comes to managing your money. They conduct business as friends when it comes to helping you how to make your money work for you. So if your interested in making an appointment leave me a comment so I could send you their information. Trust is what you need in these trouble times & when people of such stature step into your life you have to appreciate it.

Moving A 100 Miles A Minute!

In this business one never has rest. I've had so many offers for all type of jobs that I'm just so happy to be blessed. Lets start with I sent in my information to become a host & the response I got was "you'd be a big help for us of course but we need a creative camera man. Would you be interested"? I was like sure why not one has to be well rounded in all phases in the filming business. Than I was contacted by Actor/Writer/Director Shane Ryan who I may become an Executive Producer on a feature film called "Amateur Porn Star Killer The Movie 3D". I will be writing a exclusive on him and his company shortly. There is so much talent out here that when your in the field you have to be ready for whatever comes your way. These are how my days have been lately in 2009. And this is just the beginning.Hello Jason, yes how can I help you.

Poison The Innocent: Mike Kuper!

He's a 23 year old producer/rapper with over 2 million views on Myspace from promoting himself. He is now making a leap into acting with a passion in drama and comedic roles. His main focus and the one element about him is that everyone mentions that he is relentless,he doesn't give up and he just wants the right person to take notice of his determination and allow him that shot to create a buzz where everyone is talking about 2 The Limits,Until My Heart Stops,Red Tape and the many unheard records & beats he has for your ears. This is why I enjoy writing about the underdogs because if you can get 2 million people to view you and have what it takes to draw the attention he's already double platinum.

The Directors Guild Of America Has Responded!

Well as we get into the industry I just wanted my readers to know that I've been accepted into the DGA Assistant Director Training Program.ON THE JOB TRAINING,350 days of on set production work is required. Trainees work on feature films and TV shot on film for companies that have a contractual relationship with the Directors Guild of America. During the course of two years, a Trainee will work on a variety of productions which may include full length feature films (high or low budget), episodic television, TV movies, commercials, etc. After each assignment, individual performances are evaluated by the Assistant Directors and Unit Production Mangers in writing. We are moving into troubled waters in the Recession. In The Mind Of A Director!

Once Again I Teamed Up With Director Mendy Pellin!

Yes me and Director Mendy Pellin teamed up again for another production for his new project "The Purim Stimulus" which is a short and humorous promo for the upcoming holiday of Purim.Purim (Hebrew: פורים Pûrîm "lots", related to Akkadian pūru) is a rabbinically ordained Jewish holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from Haman's genocidal plot to annihilate all of them in the ancient Persian Empire as recorded in the Biblical Book of Esther. The Jews were in the Babylonian captivity because Babylonia had destroyed Solomon's Temple and dispersed the defeated Jews of the Kingdom of Judah. Babylonia was in turn conquered by Persia. So once again like Hannukah: Yes, we can! we did it again.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ghly2utDqrY&fmt=18. As soon as its produced I will give you the link to view it. Enjoy the passion as we turn history into art.

Carissa Toro: Plantanos and Collard Greens Actress!

When I met Carissa in an acting event we both shared so much insight of the craft I was so amazed by her knowledge of film, dance & production. What supreised me the most is that this seasoned artist has years of dance training and is giving back by teaching throuhout various studios, schools, events and clubs. What was shocking is that she was recently featured on NBC Live, FOX Live and ABC. She is a teacher who is sharing her love of dancing for the City of NY Parks & Recreation and Artistic Consultant for NYC schools, she has also layed down her ground work on the stage in productions of Guys & Dolls, Chicago, Footloose, West Side Story & many more. This inspiring actress has been part of Plantanos and Collard Greens broadway play for so many years and is still pursuing her career in various parts of the industry that I just wanted to write about her undocumented contributions to all these institions. Not only is she a friend but an example of what the Mind Of An Actor/Director is about when bringing your ideas into fruition through your actions daily.

Chritsion D'or Getting Spin On His New Single!

Christion D'or descends from Washington Heights. His new single "Won't Let Go" featuring Tony Sunshine is getting played on the air waves. On our last event we were collaborating on our intentions in the industry on making moves to represent Latinos in music, acting, film making, producing or ownership in anything that represents us displaying opportunities for our people. What struck me most about him was how humble he was but yet so determined to make it happen. When I heard his record on Hot 97 I called him and he answered "Yeah, ya hear that" and the feeling was mutual because he also congratulated me for my performance. How the Arts bring people together for one common cause. It's just so fantastic ain't it?

Nicholas Eisenberg: Executive Producer of The Cybil Lake Show!

Man Of Many Hats Nathen "Maakandal" Senat!!

For all those who don't know there is a Haitian Director, Producer, Casting Director & Writer on the scene that's putting his work in on the field. Yes, this young man came to one of our production meetings for The Cybil Lake Show and was telling us of the many hats that he is currently wearing on projects that were interesting. He has a smooth demeanor and a casual spirit. We were having a conversation exchanging thoughts and he invited me to be a part of his current music video that he is getting ready to shoot. His views on directing this video were really hitting the true meanings of an artistic mind. I was so inspired from his point of views and concepts that I was honored to write about his future star status. I just wanted to be the first to write about his vision & artistic mentality. I will keep you updated on his career & will be a supporter of his plight to make it in this business. You can always count on me writing about the future stars. Sit back & read about the future in film as we all consume the spirit of our passions.
