Casting Director For The Gun Virgins!

Well today at our production meeting I was assigned as the Casting Director for our feature film The Gun Virgins.Its the making of a feature film in New York City which is the concept of our Reality TV Show.In May we will begin shooting & we have a lot of work ahead of us as I'm also involved in various projects to keep on learning all the things I need to know as I begin working on some of my own directed projects.This is just the beginning of what lies ahead of me to become a household name.Just watch folks as I move on to greater things with the drive & ambition to overcome all obstacles in my path.

Staying Focused On What You Desire!

Its not easy sometimes for us to stay focused.It can be a test or a challenge when it comes to acquiring what you desire.See your desire feeds your will & when you feed your will it pushes you to continue reaching for what you desire.Through hard work is how we succeed in life & sometimes we can get discouraged.We have to always remember that "Patience" is not easy.The root word is Pati which is Latin that means struggle.This is why patience is so hard for us even though we're always saying we need to learn or practice patience.So I want my readers to know that I also fall short of abiding by this rule but no matter what I also have to learn that mastering this skill is a struggle but at the end we succeed when its all said & done.

Sue Perez is a woman who is braking all boundaries through her persistence in making sure people acknowledge her not only through her work ethic but her passion for the arts.Sue is a New York native who began her career in entertainment behind the scenes as a makeup artist.Making her way to Industrial & Music Videos working along side with Mariah Carey and assisting on The Conan O'Brian Show at NBC.It was during that time celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippman encouraged her to pursue hand modeling which than led her to becoming a plus model.Wait there's more, in the last year she decided to step it up by taking action to pursue her career in acting.She was recently on the Mike & Juliet Morning Show.As she is building her acting credits Sue is now a Casting Director & Producing Coordinator for UrNetworkAlliance. Terrence Stevens is the executive director and founder for In Arms Reach Inc. Parents Behind Bars,Children In Crisis.Which is non-profit community based art,counseling,prison visitation & academic mentoring organization exclusively serving children and youth in urban communities of New York City whose parent(s) are, or once were incarcerated.His organization is not only designed to reconnect children with their parents who are incarcerated or have been incarcerated but to make a difference with them through providing different avenues while their parents are away.This man is confined to a wheelchair and virtually paralyzed from the neck down due to Muscular Dystrophy.This is an Oscar winning Director/Producer who is changing lives through what we all are imitating through art.I want you to listen closely to what he had to share with an open mind!

Just the other night we were viewing our pilot & how Cybil edited the work we had already sent to NBC.So I said let me write about our Assistant Director who has a lot of talent and we're always talking about new ideas for the show & as we viewed ourselves for the pilot of how we began our journey in creating this show & coming together out of nowhere was a very bizarre experience.We've all added a lot to this project & have more ahead of us as we begin to shoot our feature film.This is going to be a long trip but in the end it will definitely pay off.Raw talent with just great minds coming together and forming two shows in one.That's what you call pure innovation at its finest.

Antonio Varapon: Designer & Camera Man!

Antonio Varapon is not only a camera man who's always behind the scenes but he's also a clothing designer with a lot of talent.He's been designing for people in the industry & he's constantly coming up with new designs like the K.A.R. logo which was designed by him. All he needs right now is to share his vision with a company that would give him the opportunity to show his vision in a broader since so that he could share his designs with the world & not only the entertainers that know about him.This may be his year when he starts turning up his designs and putting them out there in trade shows so that someone will see his value.

The Positive Pete Foundation!

Just the other day I was at Koch Records office meeting with a long time friend Pistol Pete who was working on releasing an album under his label featuring numerous artist in the industry.As we were discussing his agenda he informed me of his new projects ranging from movies to his new Positive Pete Foundation.He will begin a lecture tour in New York City schools talking to teenagers about the struggles & temptations of peer pressure and avoiding making the wrong decisions.He intends to touch a lot of grounds from fixing issues in the community to sponsoring certain grass root organizations.He also wants to touch ground in the county prisons as well & give free concerts to ease the tensions with gangs & conflicts that cause them to fight each other.I was asked to be a part of his tour to touch on topics of how we overcame a lot of the issues in our communities. This is what we do, give back to the communities of which we came from.

NBC Will Air Some Promo Segments Of Our Show!

Its been a real hard drive with us on the creation of The Cybil Lake Show.Today Cybil our Director & my teacher sat down with NBC & they want to air 3 minute promo segments of our show on a new channel they have.So we may finally start our Reality Show which is "The Making Of A Feature Film In NYC".So while we're filming the Reality Show we're going to actually be filming our feature film.This was a project that was just an idea that was put into action by Cybil,Myself,Nick,Dan & Christina.All of us have put endless work in getting things done wearing all the hats.As you can see we never gave up.Now hopefully we will get syndicated & move on to what we intended for the viewers.Wish us the best cause we are breaking ground with a Reality Show with substance.I'll keep you posted on our segments.Here's a video of Christina on one of our production meetings who graduated from law school but expresses her passion through the Arts.

Pete Rose A Singer/Songwriter Of Passion!

Well the other day I was in a TV studio waiting to be interviewed & I met a lot of nice people but most of all passionate & determined. Pete Rose had an interesting story because he started his musical career in 1967 song writing & singing. He performed with legends like Elton Britt,Marvin Rainwater,Bobby Helms & Tommy Cash, brother of Johnny Cash.He even wrote Second Time Around for him but when he contacted Tommy he no longer needed it so Pete made it the title cut of his album.In 1973 he had his own cable TV show in Haverstraw,NY (Rockland County).One day he went home,looked around & said to himself,"there's no one here.That's all right;I don't want anyone around me anyway".He sat at the table and wrote "I Don't Want Anyone Around Me" in 10 minutes. He played with and had his own band Pete Rose & The Southern Drifters from 1974-1979. That's when he moved his family to Central New York.This is when he made a choice to give up his singing/songwriting career in order to devote his time to raising his family. All of his music that he writes is from his heart & life experiences;the ups & downs we all go through.His songs are played internationally in such places as Australia,Belgium,Denmark,The Netherlands,New Zealand to name a few and in selected places in the United States.In August 2007 after almost 30 years in retirement he performed with Tommy Cash & has since than begun to write music.Since 2008 he has completed 2 new Cd's and a 2 song DVD he made in Nashville. Tell It To My Heart is an album of train songs,lost loves and songs from his heart.He also has a Gospel album The Lord Is Waiting For Me.Since his return he was recently a guest on Keeping Country Strong. So after sacrificing to raise his family he's emerged back with what never left him.His Passion for singing and songwriting.
